Nigeria Police HQ Set To Begin Medical Screening For Recruits On Wednesday

The Nigeria Police Force, Zone 7, has announced the commencement of medical screening for successful candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the 2022/2023 Police Constable recruitment exercise.
The screening, scheduled to run from Wednesday, February 28, to Wednesday, March 12, 2025, is specifically for indigenes of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Niger State.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 7, Muhammed Abdulkadir, advised candidates to visit https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to confirm their qualification status and print out their screening slips.
He said: “The qualified candidates will find their assigned medical screening centers, date, and time on the slip, which must be presented at the screening venue along with other required documents.”
Abdulkadir further noted that candidates are required to bring their National Identity Number (NIN) slip, form submission slip, and medical screening invitation slip.
He further explained that they must also appear in a clean white T-shirt, white shorts, white socks, and white canvas shoes.
It was also stated that the designated medical screening center for Zone 7, which covers candidates from the FCT and Niger State, is the Area One Police Hospital, Garki, Abuja.
Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 7 Command Headquarters, AIG Mohammed Usaini Gumel, urged candidates to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and strictly follow instructions during the screening.
He also warned applicants to beware of fraudsters, emphasizing that the exercise is entirely free of charge.
