Nigeria – NSA Ribadu Assures Nigerians Of Improved Security Amid Yobe Insurgency

The National Security Adviser, Mr. Nuhu Ribadu, has assured Nigerians that the ongoing insecurity in the country will soon be a thing of the past.
Ribadu made the assurance on Friday in Damaturu while expressing condolences to the people of Yobe State, following a recent insurgency attack in the region.
Ribadu commended the armed forces and security agencies for their relentless efforts and sacrifices in tackling insecurity, noting that these efforts have led to significant improvements in the security situation.
He emphasized that the Federal Government is working tirelessly to resolve the security challenges, and he believes it is only a matter of time before the entire country achieves full security.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Wale Edun, also extended his sympathies to those affected by the recent violence, offering prayers that such incidents will not happen again.
Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, expressed gratitude to the visiting delegation, stating that their visit has provided the people of Yobe with a renewed sense of belonging.
He called on Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu, asserting that his success is integral to the nation’s overall success.
