As the new school year approaches, Nollywood actress Esther Ene, has issued a heartfelt appeal to parents to sit down with their children and discuss the importance of respect and kindness.
Ene, via her Instagram page, emphasized that children should be taught not to mock others based on height, weight, skin tone, accent, or personal interests.
She also stressed that there is no shame in wearing the same clothes or using a used backpack, as both carry equal dreams and aspirations.
Ene advocates for teaching children to embrace differences and avoid teasing or bullying, highlighting that school is a place for learning, not competition or negativity.
She reminds parents that some children may not come from loving homes, making kindness all the more crucial. “It all starts at home,” she concludes.
