NIGERIA: NGO Pays Condolence Visit To Woro Community, Donates Relief Materials And Financial Support.

A non governmental Non Profitable Organisation called Mai Nasara Foundation, has paid a condolence visit to the Woro community, following the recent gruesome attack by armed bandits that led to the massacre of innocent residents and the displacement of many families.
The delegation was led by the Founder of the Foundation, Hon. Ahmad Muhammad (Dan Masani Gwanabe), who was accompanied by the Dan Isan Kaiama alongside other members of the foundation, while condemning the attack, describing it as the deadest in the history of Nigeria.
In a statement made available to African Culture Television by the Coordinator of the Foundation, Mallam Abdullah Ahmed Tijjani, the foundation said the visit was aimed at sympathising with the affected community, identifying with their pain, and providing immediate humanitarian support to ease their suffering.
During the visit, the Mai Nasara Foundation donated various food items and offered financial assistance to victims and families affected by the tragic incident.
The relief materials are intended to support survivors who are currently facing severe hardship as a result of the attack.
The founder of the foundation, Hon. Ahmad Muhammad described the incident as a deeply tragic and heartbreaking attack, revealing that about 200 innocent people lost their lives, while several others were abducted by the assailants.
He expressed profound sorrow over the scale of the loss and condemned the continued violence being inflicted on innocent communities.
Hon. Ahmad Muhammad urged relevant security agencies and government authorities to act swiftly and decisively to bring the perpetrators to justice and to strengthen security measures to prevent future attacks.
He emphasized the need for urgent intervention to safeguard lives and restore peace to affected areas.
He further offered prayers for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives, asking Almighty God to grant them eternal rest and to give the bereaved families the strength to bear the irreparable loss. He also prayed for the safe return of those who were abducted.
Community leaders and residents of Woro expressed deep appreciation to the Mai Nasara Foundation for the timely visit, compassion, and support, noting that the gesture brought comfort and renewed hope during a moment of profound grief.
