The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its counterterrorism and counter-banditry operations across the country, recording major successes in Borno, Kwara, Katsina, Zamfara, and Kaduna States.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the coordinated precision airstrikes targeted and destroyed key terrorist and bandit enclaves, killing several fighters and disrupting their logistics networks.
In Borno State, the air component of Operation HADIN KAI conducted successful strikes on Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) strongholds at Mallam Fatori and Shuwaram, decimating several terrorist hideouts.
Similar operations under Operation FANSAN YAMMA in Kwara State neutralized bandit camps in Garin Dandi and Chigogo, while in Katsina State, airstrikes destroyed a major bandit enclave at Zango Hill in Kankara Local Government Area.
The statement noted that the operations marked a decisive phase in the ongoing joint efforts of the Armed Forces to eliminate terrorist and criminal networks across Nigeria’s northern regions.
Air Commodore Ejodame explained that the success of the air missions reflected the renewed operational tempo of the Nigerian Air Force, in line with the directives of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke.
He added that each mission reaffirmed NAF’s commitment to deploying intelligence-driven and precision-guided airpower to deliver effective strikes against insurgents and criminal elements, while ensuring the safety of citizens and the protection of national assets.
