NIGERIA: Mercy Aigbe’s ‘Thin Line’ Hits N100m At The Box Office

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe, has announced that her latest film “Thin Line”, has surpassed N100 million at the box office.
In a statement shared on her Instagram page, Mercy expressed her deep gratitude to God and her supporters for their role in the film’s success.
She also acknowledged the numerous challenges faced during production and thanked God for the film’s continued success.
Mercy encouraged fans who had not seen the movie to experience it in cinema, promising them an unforgettable experience.
She wrote: “Elede mi a de Oyo, Ariwo e lo ma po. Against all odds, against all the challenges, my amazing movie *THINLINE* is still thriving and standing tall. My heart is full of gratitude to God and to everyone who has supported this journey thus far, I am so, so grateful.
“This win would not have been possible without your love, encouragement, and support; for that, I say a big THANK YOU.”
She continued: “To everyone who has seen this masterpiece in the cinema, thank you! To everyone who continues to spread the word, I want to say thank you.
“To those who haven’t experienced *THINLINE* in a cinema close to them, stop dulling! Go give yourself a treat! Go enjoy a cinematic experience like never before!!!”
Recall that in December 2024, Mercy Aigbe had publicly urged her fans to watch the movie, lamenting that it had been struggling with low viewership since its release.
She also called out cinemas for allegedly discouraging people from seeing her film.
Despite the pre- and post-production challenges, the N100 million milestone left the actress incredibly grateful.
Fans and supporters have flooded her comment section with congratulations on the film’s success.
