NIGERIA: Lauretta Onochie Reacts To DSS Arrest Of NLC President, Joe Ajaero

By Utebor Paul, Nigeria
Former Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Lauretta Onochie, has commended the Department of State Services (DSS) for the arrest of Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) President, Joe Ajaero.
Recall that Ajaero was reportedly arrested by DSS operatives at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on his way to the United Kingdom for an official assignment.
In her reaction to the development, Onochie took to her “X” account, praising the DSS for their swift action. “Good job @OfficialDSSNG. He was fleeing to a nation where laws are respected, and DSS grabbed him,” she said.
Onochie also threw jabs at Ajaero’s supporters, referring to them with the hashtags #Obidiots and #Obidients, saying they did not accompany him to the airport. She added the tag #Ndibilibili, in what appeared to be a mocking tone directed at the labor leader’s arrest.
Her statements reads: “BREAKING NEWS: DSS ARRESTS NLC PRESIDENT Joe Ajaero
“Good job@OfficialDSSNG.He was fleeing to a nation where laws are respected, and DSS grabbed him. #Obidiots and #Obidients did not follow him to the Airport. #Ndibilibili”
