The donation was made by the youths as a formal endorsement of Tinubu for a second term describing it as a deliberate collective decision based on their assessment of his leadership.
Governor Ododo described the endorsement as neither emotional nor symbolic but rooted in observable improvements in key economic indicators including stabilisation of the naira increased food availability and better fuel affordability.
He highlighted that no previous administration had prioritised youth empowerment to the extent seen under President Tinubu citing interventions in agriculture education and the economy. Ododo praised the First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her compassion through the Renewed Hope Initiative and stressed that the ₦100 million contribution was a youth mandate driven by recognition of good governance rather than ethnic considerations. He urged young people across the state to remain united emphasising that Kogi belongs to all regardless of ethnic or political d
