NIGERIA: Iyabo Ojo Thanks Fans, Family After Daughter’s Star-Studded Wedding in Tanzania

Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, also known as the Queen Mother, has expressed deep gratitude following the grand wedding finale of her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, to Tanzanian music star Juma Jux.
The lavish celebration, which took place in Tanzania, brought together a host of African celebrities, including Funke Akindele, Diamond Platnumz, Lola Alao, Kudirat Ogunro, and Jayeola Monje.
The event marked the closing ceremony of the union of two prominent families from Nigeria and Tanzania and was widely praised for its cultural richness and elegance.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Iyabo Ojo thanked guests who travelled from various parts of the world to attend the wedding.
She also acknowledged the support of her new in-laws, friends, colleagues, fans, and brands that contributed to the event’s success.
Ojo wrote: “JP2025 was truly an unforgettable experience. This union of love between two countries, East meets West, has been a dream come true. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who celebrated this special moment with us.”
She extended special appreciation to what she referred to as the “JP family,” online supporters, and all well-wishers, adding, “May those who desire similar experiences for their children receive even greater joy.”
