NIGERIA: IGP Celebrates Nigerian Workers, Reaffirms Commitment To Police Welfare

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has joined millions of Nigerians in marking Workers’ Day 2025 with a message of appreciation and solidarity.
In a press release issued on Thursday, signed by ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer at Force Headquarters, Abuja, praised the dedication of Nigerian workers across all sectors for their vital contributions to national unity, progress, and safety.
The IGP paid tribute to Nigerian workers across all sectors for their commitment to national unity, progress, and safety.
He gave special recognition to police officers nationwide, acknowledging their tireless efforts in maintaining peace and protecting lives.
“Their resolve and dedication to duty are the bedrock of our nation’s stability,” the statement said.
IGP Egbetokun assured that the Nigeria Police Force remains committed to creating a work environment where officers feel respected, empowered, and motivated.
He emphasized the Force’s ongoing plans to enhance officer welfare, improve working conditions, and promote career development.
