NIGERIA: EFCC Quizzes Operators, Students Of Suspected Yahoo Training School In Benin
By Ameenat Hamzat, Lagos, Nigeria
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Benin Zonal Directorate, has begun investigations into 30 suspected internet fraudsters arrested at a so-called Yahoo training school, popularly referred to as “Hustle Kingdom” (HK), located in Benin City.
The commission made this known in a statement issued out via its social media platforms.

The suspects who were apprehended by officers of the Nigerian Army’s 4 Brigade at a hideout in the city were handed over to the EFCC on Monday for further interrogation.
According to the EFCC, the facility bore all the markings of a conventional computer school, equipped with desktop computers, workstations, and other computer accessories.
However, officials also discovered a separate section within the premises that housed various fetish items, raising further suspicion about the school’s activities.
Items recovered from the suspects include a Toyota Corolla, several mobile phones, laptops, and MP3 devices.
The anti-graft agency noted that the suspects will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
