Nigeria – Daddy Freeze Reacts To Rema’s Donation Of Millions To Christ Embassy

On-air personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, also known as Daddy Freeze, has reacted to donations by Afrobeat singer Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, who donated 105 million Naira to the church he attended while growing up.
Recall that Rema, during his homecoming celebration, visited the Christ Embassy church where he donated N40 million for the church infrastructure, N20 million to Rhapsody of Realities, and N25 million for the infrastructure of the teen’s church. He also pledged N20 million to any widow in the church.
Reacting to his donation, Daddy Freeze stated that Rema did not give to the church but rather he gave back to the church.
He added that there is a huge difference as Rema is returning the favor the church did for him and his family when they were going through tough times.
He said:” NO, Rema did not GIVE to the Church; He gave BACK to the Church. When his family was going through a rough patch, the church was there for them financially. He is now returning the favor. There is a huge difference.”
Freeze went on to explain that the reason Rema gave to the church was because when he lost his dad, the church opened a shop for the mom, which helped them feed during difficult times.
“Why did he give to that particular church? Because when he lost his dad, the church opened a shop for his mum. That was part of what helped his folks put food on the table during a difficult period.”
He argued that Rema is only returning his harvest to those who invested in him and that he should give more.
“So unlike you going to sow your seed in church, Rema is taking part of his ‘Harvest’ to those who sowed their seed in him. As far as I’m concerned, he should even give them more. God bless the pastor that sowedminto his family,” he said.
