The protesters who were accused of attempting to intimidate the administration of President Bola Tinubu, through alleged attacks on government infrastructure, were granted bail by Justice Emeka Nwite.

The ruling set the bail at N10 million for each of the defendants, bringing the total bail amount to N100 million. The decision followed a hearing on Wednesday, 11th of September 2024, the date earlier scheduled for the bail ruling.

The court ruled that the sureties must possess landed properties within Abuja and are required to submit the property documents to the court as part of the bail conditions.
