Singer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has commended the organizers of the #EndBadGovernance protest that began on 1st August.
Charly Boy, who made this known through his “X” account, formerly known as Twitter, stated that the salvation of Nigeria lies in the hands of its youth.
He noted that since Nigerian youth have awakened to the realization that the government does not care for them, they will not succumb to those who do not support them, urging them to keep fighting to reclaim their stolen future.
He warned that the government must never feel safe unless they do what is necessary.
Charly Boy wrote: “Brave, Strong and determined Nigerian youths, una make me proud today.
“First: Una congratulations on a job well done. But our work has just started.
“As most of us don awake from our slumber in the realization say gofment no care for us, no send us, we no go gree for people wey no gree for us. We must keep fighting to retrieve our stolen future.
“Let’s keep the pressure up, because this devilish government must understand that the tide is changing. They must never feel safe again, unless dey start doing the needful.
“The Salvation of Nigeria Lies In The Hands of its Exceptional Youths. I Twale for Una.”
