Nigeria – Bobrisky Allegedly Admits To Bribing EFCC In Fresh Recording Released By Verydarkman

Nigerian social critic Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman (VDM), has stirred up controversy once again with the release of a second audio recording allegedly involving Nigerian socialite Bobrisky.
The recording made public on Monday via VDM’s Facebook page, features Bobrisky allegedly confessing to bribing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to drop money laundering charges against him.
This latest release comes just days after Verydarkman posted an initial audio clip, causing a significant buzz online.
The newly surfaced recording, reportedly from May 16, 2024, appears to capture a conversation where Bobrisky discloses how he evaded further legal scrutiny while supposedly in detention.
He claimed to have paid off the EFCC to halt investigations into his finances and unfreeze his accounts.
In the recording, Bobrisky also admits to secretly possessing a phone while in detention, something he didn’t want published.
Verydarkman further highlighted inconsistencies between Bobrisky’s revelations and the EFCC’s public statements to the House of Representatives, noting that Bobrisky’s account was allegedly still frozen at the time despite the EFCC’s contrary claims.
The leaked audio also reveals Bobrisky discussing his connection to a powerful “Godfather,” who he says facilitated his access to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to handle his legal challenges.
