Nigeria – Atiku Abubakar Celebrates Daughter’s Marriage, Calls It A Priceless Joy

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has described the joy from his daughter’s marriage as priceless.

Atiku, through his X account, formerly known as Twitter, wished his daughter and her husband a blessed marriage and expressed gratitude to those who attended the ceremony.

Atiku wrote: “The joy of giving away a daughter in marriage supported by family and friends is priceless.

“I wish Laila and her husband, Saleh Maitala, a blessed marriage. My gratitude also goes to all the dignitaries, associates, and friends who honored my family with their presence at the wedding Fatiha in Abuja today.”

The wedding, which took place at the National Mosque in Abuja, was attended by top dignitaries, notably among them were political figures like the National Chairman of the ruling Party All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje; Leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar; former governor of Jigawa, Sule Lamido; and acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Iliya Damagum.

Their presence added a special significance to the occasion.
