Nigeria – Akwa Ibom First Lady, Patience Umo Eno, Passes Away After Brief Illness

The First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, has passed away. The tragic news was announced by the State Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, in a statement released on Friday.
Mrs. Eno, wife of Governor Umo Eno, died at a hospital, surrounded by family members after a brief illness.
The commissioner expressed the family’s deep sorrow, stating: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno. She passed away peacefully in the presence of her family. The family submits to the will of the Almighty and requests privacy as they mourn.”
Governor Umo Eno, while acknowledging the overwhelming support from well-wishers, assured the citizens that despite this personal loss, his dedication to the service of Akwa Ibom State remains steadfast.
