Malawians Unite In Celebration Of Eid, Seeking Divine Intervention For The Country’s Challenges

As Muslims celebrate Eid today, the Lilongwe Sunni Foundation has emphasized the importance of surrendering to Allah’s mercy, regardless of the country’s economic situation.
The foundation’s chairperson, Aamir Patel, encouraged people from different denominations to put their faith in Allah, who can save Malawi through His mercy.
Speaking after Eid prayers in Lilongwe, Patel reflected on the month of Ramadan, highlighting the foundation’s efforts to spread blessings, amplify the message of mercy, help the underprivileged, and bring hope to the hopeless.
He emphasized that on this day of Eid, good deeds are paramount in taking care of the underprivileged, allowing them to experience Allah’s goodness.
The celebration was marked by a sense of unity, with people from all walks of life coming together to observe the occasion.
One of the Muslims, Abdul Rahman Chibisa, urged his fellow Muslims to celebrate the day responsibly, upholding the teachings of their faith.
As Malawians join in the celebration, they are reminded of the importance of faith, compassion, and kindness.
The Lilongwe Sunni Foundation’s message serves as a call to action, encouraging individuals to make a positive impact in their communities and to seek divine guidance in addressing the country’s challenges.
