Fourteen Malawian students departed today to pursue their studies in Morocco.
According to Morocco’s Ambassador, Najo Abdelkader, this is one way to support the development of Morocco, as the country believes that education is a key driver of national development.
Malawian Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Valentino Zimpita, stated that Malawi is expecting a significant turnaround in the education sector, noting that with quality education, students will acquire skills and knowledge to develop the country.
One of the students, Clyf Nangantani, thanked Morocco and the Ministry of Education for the opportunity, promising to work hard and return with good grades to contribute to Malawi’s development.
This is part of the 2024-2025 academic exchange program, where 100 students were selected to pursue their studies in Morocco.
