MALAWI: YANA Foundation And Ukrainian Opera Singer Alex Luna Unite For Education In Malawi

By Smile Hamilton, Malawi
Tusaiwe Munkhondya, founder of the YANA Foundation, has invited Ukrainian public figure and opera singer Alex Luna to visit the construction site of a new free school in Lilongwe, Malawi.
This school aims to provide quality education to underprivileged children.
The YANA Foundation has already established three schools in the Mzuzu region, offering education to hundreds of children who would otherwise have limited access to learning opportunities. The new school in Lilongwe will further this mission by providing free education to more children in need.
During his visit, Alex Luna expressed admiration for the project and shared his desire to contribute to the foundation’s work. As an advocate for social change, Luna hopes to use his platform to raise awareness for the cause and create more opportunities for Malawi’s children.
Tusaiwe Munkhondya welcomed Luna’s support, believing his involvement could bring global attention to the cause. She hopes that his passion and dedication will inspire more people to get involved in the foundation’s mission.
The visit marked a new chapter in the collaboration between the YANA Foundation and international advocates. Both Tusaiwe and Alex are hopeful that this partnership will pave the way for greater strides in empowering Malawi’s future generations.
Together, they are committed to ensuring that education remains accessible to every child, regardless of their background. The YANA Foundation’s legacy will continue to inspire positive change in Malawi and beyond.
