The Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, Justice Dr Jane Ansah, today marked her first official day in office since being sworn in.

The occasion signifies the beginning of her tenure as the country’s second female Vice President and reflects her long-standing dedication to justice, leadership, and national service.

Ansah arrived at her new office in Lilongwe to a warm welcome from senior government officials and staff members, who expressed optimism about her leadership and vision for the nation.
In brief remarks, she thanked President Peter Mutharika for the trust placed in her and pledged to work tirelessly in supporting government programs aimed at economic growth, good governance, and social development.
“This is a moment of renewed commitment to serve Malawians with honesty, fairness, and unity of purpose,” said Ansah. “Together, we can continue building a Malawi where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive.”
Justice Dr Ansah’s appointment has been widely viewed as a recognition of her extensive experience in the judiciary and her unwavering pursuit of integrity in public service.
