MALAWI: NBS Bank Partners with Amaryllis Hotel to Launch Private Banking Services
By Smile Hamilton, Malawi
NBS Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amaryllis Hotel aimed at providing exclusive benefits to its customers through a strategic partnership.
Under the agreement, NBS Bank has introduced private banking services at the hotel. The service will operate from a dedicated suite on the sixth floor, where clients will be assisted during normal banking hours in a secure and convenient environment.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, NBS Bank’s Head of Private and Executive Banking, Hanika Kanyenda, said the MoU represents a strategic initiative to enhance customer experience by integrating financial services with hospitality offerings.
“This Memorandum of Understanding reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional service by combining tailored financial solutions with a premium hospitality setting. Our clients will now enjoy both convenience and exclusivity,” said Kanyenda.
Managing Director of Amaryllis Hospitality Group, Ramy Waheed, described the partnership as a progressive step toward value creation.
“This is the power of collaboration over competition — a moment for us to create value for our clients together,” said Waheed.
The partnership is expected to strengthen client relations and provide a seamless blend of banking and hospitality services in Malawi.
