Apostle Clifford Kawinga of Salvation for All Ministries has expressed his desire to see Malawians become self-reliant in achieving food security through various agricultural initiatives.

Speaking in Malembo Village, Lilongwe, where his church donated 6,000 bags of maize to support more than 4,000 households, Apostle Kawinga said the church has already established farmer groups that are being equipped with modern and sustainable farming tools and training.
“It is my vision to see people become self-reliant through agriculture so that we can reduce hunger and dependency,” said Apostle Kawinga. “We have put in place structures to ensure that the farming tools and training benefit not only this generation but also those to come.”
Speaking during the handover ceremony at the office of Senior Chief Chiwaula, Village Headman Bleston Caleb commended the donation, saying it will greatly assist families in his area who have been struggling with hunger.
“This support has come at the right time because many people here have been suffering from hunger, with some even migrating to Zambia and Mozambique in search of food,” said Caleb.
According to Apostle Kawinga, the food donation is worth not less than K200 million.
