Kenya – We Will Change Kenya I Have No Doubt In My Mind – President Ruto

Kenyan President, William Ruto, has hit back at critics who have cast doubt on his ability to deliver on the Kenya Kwanza promises.
Speaking during a church service at Stewards Revival Pentecostal Church in Nairobi on Sunday, Ruto said he was optimistic that his administration would change the country.
He said since he took over office, he has been able to move the country from where it was to where it is, noting that it has been through his effort that achievements such as the reduction on prices of commodities like maize flour have reduced from Sh200 to Sh100.
He reacted further to the critics, saying even though it might not happen instantly, he was confident that he will make Kenya move forward.
He thanked those who prayed for the Kenya Kwanza government to assume office, saying he will not let them down.
“We will change Kenya; I have no doubt in my mind. It won’t happen like instant coffee, not miraculously, but through a plan, we will get it done,” the President said.
Ruto said when he talked about securing job opportunities for Kenyans in Germany, some dismissed it as lies.
He dismissed such critics as people who walk by sight and not by faith.
He explained that many people fail to understand him when he says something, and they assume it will not happen.
“Do not be disturbed by those who have lost faith. There are people who are dismissing everything as lies, but I am a person who understands the word of God,” he spoke in his language.
Ruto gave an example of the Biblical Wall of Jerusalem which was constructed amid several challenges.
He said when Nehemiah was tasked with building the Wall of Jerusalem, it wasn’t easy because they were constructing the wall while carrying weapons in the other hand.
“There was war and construction but there were others like Tobias who were like people you are hearing here saying the construction of the wall was an impossible mission, but in the end, the wall was completed,” he said.
