KENYA: Man Arrested In Utawala After Gun Discovered In Fridge

Police in Nairobi area arrested Brown Carlos Butrose Kombo on Saturday in Kevin heights, Utawala after they recovered a Glock Pistol loaded with 17 rounds of ammunition hidden inside a refrigerator during an intelligence-led raid.

The suspect, Brown Carlos Butrose Kombo, was cornered by detectives from Embakasi Sub-County following an intelligence-led operation at a residence in Kelvin Heights.

Officers recovered a Glock pistol fitted with 17 rounds of ammunition, stashed away in his fridge.

Police confirmed that the weapon was taken in as evidence, and the suspect is being held in custody awaiting arraignment on Monday.

“The scene was processed, exhibits secured, and the suspect placed in custody pending arraignment,” stated the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.

The man is currently in custody and will be arraigned in court on Monday.
