Kenyan President William Ruto on Monday, led the Nation in celebrating this year’s Mashujaa Day at Ithookwe Stadium in Kitui County, a ceremony graced by Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Africa’s youngest Head of State, as the Chief Guest.

This year’s celebrations were dedicated to the memory of the late former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga, in recognition of his immense contribution and lifelong sacrifice in shaping Kenya’s democratic transformation.

President Ruto, alongside President Faye and other dignitaries, paid glowing tribute to Kenya’s heroes and heroines, past and present, whose courage, patriotism, and service continue to define the nation’s journey.

At the event, the President reiterated the government’s commitment to unity, service, and continuity of the values for which the country’s founding fathers and leaders like Raila Odinga stood.
