KENYA: Ex-Laikipia North Member Of Parliament Mathew Lempurkel Dies After Road Crash

Former Laikipia North Member of Parliament (MP) Mathew Lempurkel has died, a week after being involved in a serious road accident, his family confirmed on Sunday.

He had been receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of a Nairobi hospital following the crash in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, but passed away while undergoing care.

Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua mourned Lempurkel as a devoted leader who gave his service selflessly to the people.
