Kenya Airways has announced a series of adjustments to its flight schedule, to meet rising demand as the peak holiday season approaches.
Effective from October 27, 2024, the airline will add flights to several key destinations, including increased weekly flights to Mauritius, Comoros, and Zanzibar.
Specifically, flights from Nairobi to Mauritius will now operate three times per week, while the Nairobi-Zanzibar route will see flights offered daily.
Starting December 5, additional flights from Nairobi to New York will be available twice weekly, addressing high demand for travel to the United States during the holiday season.
In a significant change, Kenya Airways has suspended its flights to Mogadishu, Somalia, citing operational challenges. This decision, effective as of mid-October, is part of an effort by the airline to optimise its routes and improve efficiency across its network.
Passengers with bookings on cancelled Mogadishu flights have been offered alternative travel arrangements, including refunds or rebooking options.
These updates reflect Kenya Airways’ commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and meeting market demand while ensuring passenger safety.
