– It gained traction after being shared by entertainment blogs and fan pages.

– Many users reacted with surprise, questioning whether Mercy Johnson had cosmetic surgery or changed her style.

3. Verification Process

To fact-check the claim, African Culture TV conducted the following:

A. Reverse Image/Video Search:

– A reverse search using tools like Mercy Johnson’s verified Instagram account, Google Lens or InVID revealed that the video is original. Some frames appear to be from her social media handles.

B. Comparison with Recent Public Appearances:

-Mercy Johnson’s verified Instagram page ([@mercyjohnsonokojie](https://www.instagram.com/mercyjohnsonokojie/)) shows there is such drastic change.

– Recent events (e.g.AMCV award) confirm she is the one in the video.

C. Source Reliability:

– The original uploader is a verified Facebook Page owner with thousands of followers.

– Though only few Reputable entertainment news outlets reported  such transformation, comparison with recent videos from her social media handles shows the same

4. Findings

-The video is real and original. There are evidence to show that from her recent activities on social media.

-Credible evidence from her recent social media posts supports that Mercy Johnson has undergone a significant appearance change recently.

– The viral post appears to be authentic and designed to generate engagement.
