Ex-Minister Uju Kennedy Takes On Teacher Who Allegedly Abused 5-Year Old Student

In a case that has left many reeling, a five-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by her class teacher.
The case took an interesting turn when a former Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye, announced that she would be representing the young girl in court.
Kennedy-Ohaneye, a lawyer and advocate for women’s rights, took to X to announce her appearance in the court in respect of the case, noting her commitment to fighting for justice and eradicating all forms of abuse against vulnerable Nigerians, including children.
She said her passion for justice remains unwavering, and she has vowed to pursue justice relentlessly in her capacity.
This case comes just a month after Kennedy-Ohaneye’s removal from office by President Bola Tinubu as part of a major cabinet reshuffle.
Despite her removal, Kennedy-Ohaneye disclosed that she remains committed to fighting for a better society and ensuring that justice is served, especially for vulnerable members of society.
