Davido To Donate ₦300 Million to Orphanages And Charity Homes For 32nd Birthday

Award-winning Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced plans to donate ₦300 million to orphanages and charity homes as part of his 32nd birthday celebrations.
In a post shared on his official X account, the singer disclosed that the donation would focus on orphanages and organisations working to help young people avoid drug abuse and addiction. He added that further details of the initiative would be announced soon.
Davido wrote: “Once again my birthday this year we donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is ₦300m. Details to follow soon.”
The gesture follows his philanthropic milestone in 2021 when he donated ₦250 million to 292 orphanages across Nigeria to mark his 29th birthday.
Davido, regarded as one of the most influential Afrobeats artists of the 21st century, continues to use his platform to champion causes that support the underprivileged and contribute to societal growth. His commitment to giving back has further endeared him to fans worldwide.
