Big Brother Naija star, Hermes Chibueze Iyele has publicly announced the passing of his mother, Isioma Phebian Iyele, who died on 5th November.
In a heartfelt statement shared on social media, Hermes expressed the depth of his grief, noting that he felt compelled to go public to begin the mourning process and to appeal for support.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I announce the passing of my beloved mum, Isioma Phebian Iyele,” Hermes stated. “I currently lack the strength, mentally and financially, to handle this situation. Please pray for my siblings and me, and support us in any way you can.”
Hermes explained that he received the tragic news while on a work trip and is trying to manage his duties amid his grief. He asked for patience from fans and well-wishers as he may not be able to respond to calls or messages until he returns.
The burial process will commence once he returns home, Hermes confirmed. “Love and light always,” he concluded.
