MALAWI: Success Private School’s Innocent Nkhonjera Scores 12 Points In MSCE, Wins K1 Million Reward

Innocent Nkhonjera, a student from Mzuzu’s Success Private School, achieved an impressive 12 points in the Malawi Schools Certificate Examination (MSCE). This outstanding feat earned him a K1 million reward and recognition from the school’s Managing Director, James Singini.
Singini emphasised the importance of a conducive teaching and learning environment, stakeholder collaboration, and morally driven secondary education in achieving academic excellence and Malawi’s 2063 agenda.
“We have a culture of appreciating success,” Singini said, praising Nkhonjera’s distinctions in all science subjects.
Nkhonjera’s achievement is not only a personal triumph but also a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing vibrant students. With nearly 1,000 learners, Success Private Secondary School proudly claims to be “Where Academic Excellence Begins.” This year, 500 of its students will sit for the MSCE.
Overjoyed, Nkhonjera expressed gratitude and revealed his passion for medical sciences. Despite showcasing innovative engineering ideas, he aims to establish a medical facility in his home village to alleviate healthcare challenges faced by mothers and children.
“I want to mitigate the challenges women and children face in my home area, walking long distances to access medical supplements,” Nkhonjera said.
